Reinstatement Appeal Template and Safeguard Checklist
The appeal structure and post-reinstatement safeguards we use to recover suspended marketplace accounts. Each issue type needs its own, correctly structured response.
1. The appeal structure
- Issue summary: one clear line stating exactly what happened.
- Root cause: the real reason, stated plainly and without blame-shifting.
- Immediate corrective actions: what you have already fixed.
- Preventive actions: what stops it from happening again.
- Supporting evidence: a labeled list of the documents you are attaching.
2. The concise versions
- A three-sentence version for live chat, in case a human review is faster.
- A one-line issue summary for the subject line or the first message.
3. Compliance document checklist
- Business license or registration.
- Tax ID.
- Government-issued ID for the account holder.
- Proof of authenticity or supplier invoices, if product authenticity is in question.
4. Safeguards after reinstatement
- Keep compliance documentation current so a filing is never missed.
- Turn on account-health monitoring with alerts before thresholds are crossed.
- Assign a named owner for filings, payment methods, and certifications.
