High-Converting Product Page Checklist

The 14-section structure we use to turn browsers into buyers and earn richer search results. Build it once, then roll it across the catalog.

1. The 14 sections, in order

  • Announcement bar, H1, intro, benefit bullets, specs table, education block, how-to steps.
  • Eco or value block, icon cards, credibility block, a 10-question FAQ, trust badges, closing CTA.
  • Reserve space for everything so nothing shifts as the page loads.

2. Compliant claims

  • Map every non-compliant phrase to a compliant replacement before launch.
  • In regulated categories, avoid medical, disinfectant, antimicrobial, or cure language.
  • Keep claims specific and provable rather than superlative.

3. Structured data for richer results

  • Add Product, FAQPage, and HowTo structured data.
  • Validate it so it earns rich results instead of errors.

4. The conversion-gap math

  • Multiply monthly sessions by your current conversion rate, then by the realistic target rate.
  • The difference, times average order value, is your monthly opportunity. Fix the biggest gap first.
